3.0+ give or takeAug 05 2008Communications
3.0+ give or take. If taking, extra cirricular activities (i.e. sports) are a must. Because MSU has many commuter students, it is believed it's less difficult to get in than other comparable universities. This is not true. And if grades are not kept up to par, students will not remain.

To get into Montclair I had a 1040 sat score(old). Was ranked in the top 30 percent of my class and had a 91 gpa. Good grades are imperative and you need to show you can get them while being involved

I recieved a 1310 on my SAT's and I am a minority
Moreover, my parents are not rich
so there you go. I came here because
I could commute while taking care of my
mother who has system lupus.
I transferred the next year to NYU and majored in NEUROSCIENCE
at the Center for NEUROSCIENCE. took the GRE
Recieved a 1300 and now I am applying to YALE, PRINCETON, STANFORD, BROWN, UCSF, UCSD & UCLA. Just because you are a minority doesnot mean you are automatically dumb.
Don't be so bitter my stupid white friends.
SAT: 1320 Male
Easy just be a minority or have at least a 1000May 30 2005Business - Management and Administration
Easy; just be a minority or have at least a 1000 SAT
SAT: 1120 Male
I had a 2May 07 2004Political Science
I had a 2.8 gpa and 1090 SATS. I participated in a lot of extracurricular activites (sports and almost every club in my high school) I also wrote a great essay about why I wanted to go to MSU. The standards for admission are not too high, although I do know a lot of people with better applications who did not get in. I guess it all depends on your major, and also your race.
